U.S. President Donald Trump stated<\/a> that Ukraine should have reached a peace agreement as early as February 2025, when he met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

“You know, when I was in this office, I spoke about the lack of cards. I told [Zelensky], ‘You don’t have the cards.’ That was the time they should have agreed. It would have been a much better time for a settlement,” Trump said.<\/p>\n
