Hovhannes Bachkov, the leader of the Armenian national boxing team and an Olympic bronze medalist, won his second victory at the World Boxing Championship in Tashkent.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the 1\/8 finals of the World Championship, Bachkov defeated Turkish boxer Kagan Kanli with a score of 5:0 (30-27, 30-25, 29-28, 29-28) by unanimous decision of the referees.<\/p>\n

The Armenian athlete advanced to the quarterfinals. Gurgen Madoyan will also enter the ring tonight to hold his first fight in the championship. His opponent is Chinese Taipei’s Lin Yu.<\/p>\n
