Denmark expects full respect for its territorial integrity, said Denmark’s Ambassador to the United States, Jesper Møller Sørensen, responding to a post by the wife of a White House staff member in which Greenland was depicted in the colors of the US flag.<\/p>\n
“Just a friendly reminder about the US and the Kingdom of Denmark: We are close allies and should continue to work together as such. US security is also Greenland’s and Denmark’s security,” Sørensen wrote<\/a> on X.<\/p>\n He also noted that Denmark has significantly increased its efforts in the field of Arctic security.<\/p>\n
