Venezuela is demanding the immediate release of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, the country’s Vice President Delcy Rodríguez said on Telesur<\/a>. Rodríguez has been appointed acting president by a ruling of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

According to Rodríguez, Venezuela will never become a colony of any country.<\/p>\n

“The only legitimate president of Venezuela is Nicolás Maduro,” she stated.<\/p>\n
