The requirement for Armenian citizenship in the housing program for Artsakh residents will not change, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Arsen Torosyan said at a press briefing today in response to an ABC Media<\/strong> inquiry.<\/p>\n

“This is not about changing passports, but about acquiring citizenship. Our Armenian passports have been travel documents with a special code. They have never been considered Armenian citizens,” Torosyan explained.<\/p>\n

When asked whether holding an Armenian passport automatically means becoming an Armenian citizen, Torosyan replied: “You know the answer very well. I have answered; if you are not satisfied with the answer, that is your problem.”<\/p>\n
