U.S. President Donald Trump is set to meet with senior administration officials to discuss potential additional measures against Iran, The Wall Street Journal<\/a> reports, citing government sources.<\/p>\n

Expected participants in the meeting include Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Caine.<\/p>\n

The possible measures under consideration could include covert cyberattacks targeting Iran’s military and civilian infrastructure, new sanctions against Tehran, and military strikes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, RFE\/RL reports that Trump may also meet with Iranian officials to discuss Tehran’s nuclear program. According to sources, Trump held<\/a> a phone conversation on Jan. 10 with Iranian representatives regarding a potential meeting.
