US President Donald Trump has said no one attempted to persuade him to abandon plans to strike Iran, Sky News<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

“Nobody convinced me. I convinced myself,” Trump told reporters when asked whether Arab or Israeli countries had sought to dissuade him from launching an attack on Iran.<\/p>\n

Trump noted that his decision was “greatly influenced” by the fact that Iranian authorities canceled more than 800 executions scheduled for Jan. 15.<\/p>\n
