Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan expressed deep appreciation for the Council of Europe’s consistent attention to the region and its support for normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n
Mirzoyan made the comments during a speech at today’s PACE winter session.<\/p>\n
“We are turning the page on decades of hostility. We are grateful that you are with us on this historic path toward a stable and prosperous future,” he said.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Mirzoyan stated that Armenia remains fully committed to normalizing relations with Turkey.<\/p>\n
“Continued progress in the Armenia-Turkey normalization process—including opening the border, establishing diplomatic relations, and restoring the Gyumri-Kars railway—will make a significant contribution to regional stability and prosperity,” Mirzoyan added.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
