The EU and Azerbaijan, in partnership with the European Investment Bank, have agreed to begin a feasibility study for a railway project in Nakhijevan.<\/p>\n
According to the EU Delegation in Azerbaijan, the project represents a significant investment for both Azerbaijan and the wider region, aimed at improving mobility and economic flows.<\/p>\n
The planned railway will form part of the larger Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor, which is designed to connect Europe and Central Asia with an estimated transit time of 15 days.<\/p>\n
