During a dinner held on Saturday, US President Donald Trump jokingly spoke about the “annexation” of Canada, Greenland, and Venezuela, The Washington Post<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

“We are not going to invade Greenland. We are going to buy it. I never intended to make Greenland the 51st state. I want to make Canada the 51st state. Greenland will be the 52nd state. Venezuela could be the 53rd,” the article quotes the president as saying.<\/p>\n
