The appeal process against the court decision on Vagif
\nKhachatryan’s case has begun in Azerbaijan.

The Baku Court of Appeal, under the chairmanship of Judge
\nHasan Ahmadov, has studied the evidence presented within the appeal.
<\/p><\/p>\n
To remind, Khachatryan had been sentenced to 15 years in
\nprison for “participating in mass murders of Azerbaijanis”. Later, his advocate
\nannounced their decision to appeal against the decision.

Vagif Khachatryan was abducted from the illegal checkpoint
\nover the Hakari bridge. He was being transferred to Armenia in an ICRC vehicle
\nto undergo surgery on his heart.
