Russia will soon open a new consulate general in Armenia.
\nRussian Deputy Foreign Minister Evgeniy Ivanov said this in an interview with
\nKomsomolskaya Pravda.

“Decisions on the opening of consulates have already been
\nreached and agreed with the authorities of the states. Consulates will be
\nopened in Kapan (Armenia), Aktau (Kazakhstan), Samarkand (Uzbekistan), Denpasar
\n(Indonesia) and Malé (the Republic of Maldives),” reads the statement issued by
\nthe Russian Foreign Ministry.

To remind, the Consulate General in Kapan will become the
\nsecond consulate general of Russia in Armenia after the one in Gyumri.
