\nits goals in the war against Ukraine. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg

“The invasion, under the order of President Vladimir Putin,
\nwas aimed to prevent Ukraine from stepping toward NATO and the EU. However,
\nalmost two years after the outbreak of the war, Ukraine is closer to NATO and
\nthe EU than ever,” Stoltenberg noted.

As he stated, Putin has lost Ukraine once and for all, and
\nthat is a heavy strategic defeat for Russia. He expressed confidence that one
\nday Ukraine will achieve its goal and become a NATO member.

“Moscow has already lost hundreds of aircraft, thousands of
\ntanks and has incurred 300,000 killed and wounded soldiers. On account of the
\nwar, the inflation rate has increased, and the standard of living has fallen.
\nRussia is now politically more isolated than before,” he said, adding that
\nPutin shows no signs of changing his policy if re-elected in the upcoming
\npresidential election on March 17.
