In the blast at a fuel depot on the highway from Stepanakert
\nto Askeran, 218 people died, and 120 were injured, the Investigative Committee
\nof Armenia reports.

Three victims still remain unidentified, as the relatives
\nhave not shown up so that reference samples could be collected for forensic
\nmedical examination. The identity of 138 victims has been established through
\nforensic medical examination, while that of the remaining 77 victims has been
\nestablished through other investigative activities.

At the time of the blast, there were around 1,000 citizens
\nin the closed area of the depot.

According to the Investigative Committee, there were 300,000
\nliters of summer diesel, 77,000 liters of winter diesel, and about 42,000
\nliters of gasoline in the fuel depot.
