TRIPP is not a corridor but a road, Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia stated during a meeting with students at Yerevan State University, according to Azatutyun<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Have Tehran’s concerns regarding the project, which is being implemented with US participation, been alleviated? Azatutyun asked Khalil Shirgolāmi.<\/p>\n

“We have very good contacts with the Armenian side on this issue and remain in constant communication. If the purpose of this road is to expand opportunities and support peace, we do not oppose it,” the Iranian diplomat responded.<\/p>\n
