Iran has called on European countries to refrain from getting engaged in any Israel-US joint operations against Tehran, Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said.<\/p>\n
“Any such action against Iran will be considered an alliance [with Israel and the United States],” Baghaei stated. “It will be regarded as an act of war against Iran.”<\/p>\n
Earlier, the governments of Germany and France had announced their readiness to use military force if Iran does not halt “disproportionate and indiscriminate attacks” against their allies in the Middle East.<\/p>\n
