\nArmenia, it could help prevent incidents and launch cooperation on cross-border
\nprojects. President of the think-tank International Crisis Group Comfort Ero
\nmade an X post on this, while patrolling with the EU Mission in Armenia.

“It’s striking to see just how close the two sides’ military
\npositions are to each other above settlements. The EU’s decision to increase
\nthe mission’s personnel is welcome. Villagers still hear shots often fired, but
\ncasualties have decreased in recent months,” Ero wrote.
<\/p><\/p>\n
She also noted that the think-tank urges both sides to
\nreturn to peace talks, including border delimitation.
<\/p><\/p>\n\n
“Efforts by Western partners to monitor developments are an
\nimportant measure to create conditions for talks to go ahead,” Ero wrote.
