The U.S. is starting to monitor more carefully how well
\nhuman rights are protected, including in Armenia. International Relations
\nSpecialist Suren Sargsyan made a Facebook post on this.

He noted that recently Biden has come under strong criticism
\nfor deviating from the established principle, i.e. to put human rights at the
\ncore of the country’s foreign policy.

“At this pre-election stage, when Biden’s approval rating is
\nfalling, he is facing criticism for being soft with a number of countries on a
\nnumber of issues, including on human rights.
<\/p><\/p>\n\n
I am sure that in the near future, Armenia will also come
\nunder the microscope, and Washington will not turn a blind eye to things that
\nit did not speak about on account of geopolitical interests. I do not rule out
\nthe possibility that in the near future, for example, Malyan or others may be
\nreleased,” Sargsyan wrote.
