A Security Council meeting, led by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, was held following the appearance of drones in the country’s airspace, TASS<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

Aliyev stated that the Iranian side must provide an explanation to Azerbaijan and issue an apology.<\/p>\n

He described the drone attacks on Nakhijevan as a “terrorist attack against Azerbaijan” and added that Iranian drones had targeted civilian sites.<\/p>\n
