Children and their families are not safe even in hospitals

He noted that over the past two days, the largest remaining
\nhospital in Gaza, was also shelled. The hospital shelters many children who
\nhave been badly injured in attacks on their homes. Hundreds of women have also
\nfound shelter here.

“They are not safe in hospitals. They are not safe in
\nshelters. And they are certainly not safe in the so-called ‘safe’ zones,” Elder
\nsaid, adding that there is a dire lack of adequate sanitation, which encourages
\nthe spread of diseases.
