Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, on Wednesday described a resolution adopted by the organization as a “blatant misuse” of the UN mandate, Al-Monitor<\/a> writes.<\/p>\n

“Let me make it clear, this resolution is a manifest injustice against my country, the main victim of a clear act of aggression,” Iravani said, adding that the Security Council is acting to serve the political agendas of the United States and Israel.<\/p>\n
