During a session of the Armenian Parliament’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said all infrastructures built, operated, or reactivated in Armenian territory under TRIPP will remain and function fully under Armenia’s legal authority.<\/p>\n

Here are the main takeaways from Mirzoyan’s speech:<\/p>\n

Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not without challenges: after so much bloodshed, the wounds are still fresh, and there are individuals currently held in Baku.<\/li>\n
Negotiations on TRIPP are ongoing. A bilateral agreement between Armenia and the United States will establish TRIPP formally.<\/li>\n
We have a fairly dynamic and promising dialogue with Turkey, and processes are taking place on the ground.<\/li>\n
Cooperation with the European Union has expanded in defense and security areas.<\/li>\n
Humanitarian aid has been sent from Armenia to Iran, primarily in the form of medicine. Mirzoyan stated there was no need to trumpet this.<\/li>\n
Armenia has stated both behind closed doors and publicly that its Constitution contains nothing problematic for Azerbaijan.<\/li>\n
Azerbaijan has not demanded any changes to the Armenian Constitution.<\/li>\n
It has been confirmed that Armenia and Azerbaijan have not negotiated and are not negotiating any constitutional changes. Azerbaijan responds: “Very well, we are not negotiating or demanding it; it is your internal matter.
