Around 15 countries are planning to carry out a mission in the Strait of Hormuz, French President Emmanuel Macron has said.<\/p>\n
“Fifteen countries are involved and are preparing to carry out a strictly defensive mission in the Strait of Hormuz, under France’s leadership, which will be conducted in coordination with Iran,” Macron stated.<\/p>\n
He welcomed Iran’s willingness to unblock the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the ceasefire agreement reached between Washington and Tehran.<\/p>\n
