Just three minutes after the incident, the teenager reportedly searched on Google for the prison sentence for hit-and-run offences and also looked up where Jewish people live in order to track them.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most serious incidents occurred on March 30. In a suburb of Melbourne, the girl allegedly used a stolen car in an attempt to hit a cyclist and, after a prolonged chase, struck him with the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say the girl is suffering from a &ldquo;craving for notoriety&rdquo; and has been taking satisfaction in news coverage and social media attention generated by her crimes.<\/p>\n<p>Her defense team requested release on bail, but the court denied the request, and she remains in custody.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 13-year-old girl in Australia has been charged with committing 109 offences, The Age writes.
