The CSTO expects that the normalization of Armenian–Azerbaijani relations will lead to reliable and lasting peace in the South Caucasus, CSTO Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov said during a meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council, according to TASS<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We continue to closely monitor the situation in the Caucasus region of the CSTO. It appears that the search for sustainable peace is ongoing there. We observe encouraging trends aimed at signing a comprehensive interstate peace agreement between the two countries.
