Azerbaijan has lodged a strong protest with Belgium and the Netherlands over documents adopted by their parliaments on April 16, which Baku describes as anti-Azerbaijani and related to the peace process with Armenia.<\/p>\n
Ambassador of Belgium to Azerbaijan Julien de Fraipont and Ambassador of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan Marianne de Jong were summoned to Azerbaijan’s foreign ministry.<\/p>\n
During the meetings, the Azerbaijani side expressed strong protest over the adopted documents, which it said were aimed at “undermining Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the ongoing peace process between Baku and Yerevan.”<\/p>\n
Azerbaijan also rejected accusations of violating Armenia’s territorial integrity and accusations of unlawful detention of Armenians.<\/p>\n
