US President Donald Trump has announced that the operation to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, known as Project Freedom, will be temporarily suspended to assess the possibility of finalizing and signing a comprehensive agreement with Iran.<\/p>\n
Trump stated that the blockade will remain in force.<\/p>\n
“We have mutually agreed that, while the Blockade will remain in full force and effect, Project Freedom (The Movement of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz) will be paused for a short period of time to see whether or not the Agreement can be finalized and signed,” Trump wrote.<\/p>\n
