Researchers at Kyoto University Hospital have begun clinical trials of an experimental drug called TRG-035, which aims to stimulate the growth of new teeth by activating the body’s natural tooth-forming mechanisms.<\/p>\n

Scientists developed TRG-035 to target a protein known as USAG-1, which normally suppresses the formation of additional teeth after adulthood. By inhibiting this protein, researchers hope to activate dormant tooth buds and encourage the growth of a new set of teeth.<\/p>\n

The treatment is administered through intravenous injection.<\/p>\n
