The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is considering postponing the introduction of certain elements of its common energy market until 2030, TASS<\/a> writes, referring to a document published on the website of Kazakhstan’s ministry of energy.<\/p>\n

The ministry noted that in 2024, a decision was made to delay the launch of the EAEU’s common energy market from Jan. 1, 2025, to Jan. 1, 2027.<\/p>\n

“At the same time, the EAEU is also discussing the possibility of postponing the introduction of certain market elements, including organized trading mechanisms, until 2030,” the document states.<\/p>\n

The document states that the implementation of the EAEU common energy market “generally requires further coordinated efforts by member states to harmonize national legislation, remove existing barriers, and develop unified approaches to market operations.”<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
