“The U.S.-centric world order is coming to an end, and a
\nperiod of diversity is beginning. This refers to international economic
\nrelations as well,” he said. <\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
“The U.S. economy is the largest economy, but not the only
\none, and the global economy is not limited to the U.S. economy,” Peskov said.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
He noted there is an economy that is catching up with the
\nU.S., i.e. China; there are developing economies, having their demands for
\nenergy resources, and finally, the world is much more diverse than the U.S..<\/p>\n

Earlier, Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources
\nGeoffrey Pyatt told the Financial Times that Washington aims to halve Russia’s
\noil and gas revenues by the end of this decade.<\/p>\n
