The United States has presented Iran with a list of five demands that must be met in order to resume peace negotiations, according to a report by the Iranian Fars News Agency. The proposal is described as Washington’s response to a similar Iranian initiative.<\/p>\n

According to the news outlet, the US position includes the following points:<\/p>\n

Washington will not compensate Iran for damages incurred;<\/li>\n
Iran must remove and hand over 400 kilograms of enriched uranium to the United States;<\/li>\n
Iran must maintain only one operational nuclear facility;<\/li>\n
The United States will unfreeze no more than 25% of Iran’s frozen assets;<\/li>\n
A cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon, is possible only through negotiations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
