Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has urged Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan to pay attention to how he treats his own citizens, responding to claims that Moscow has allegedly launched a campaign against him.<\/p>\n
Zakharova said Western media outlets had claimed that Russia was supposedly running an “anti-Pashinyan campaign.”<\/p>\n
She called on people to pay attention to “those Armenian citizens at whom Pashinyan was simply shouting; the woman who ‘should be grateful’ that, as he said, her head was not smashed against the wall of a corner bathroom.”<\/p>\n
“Look at this man. My heart is truly bleeding. Watch this video: an elderly man whose grandson had died, who came to a rally at Pashinyan’s call, asked a question, and was then accused of coming there for $50.”<\/p>\n
