The EAEU leaders will on Friday discuss Armenia’s membership in the organization, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said, according to ria.ru<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting will take place tomorrow. I think this issue will be discussed to some extent,” Ushakov said.<\/p>\n

Separately, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov dismissed as “nonsense” a suggestion<\/a> by journalists that the Armenian flag could be lowered at the EAEU summit and time should not be wasted on the matter.<\/p>\n
