Leaders of the G7 countries have agreed to increase arms deliveries to Ukraine and step up pressure on Russia’s military-industrial sector during a summit held in France, according to a joint statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We agree to increase the delivery of air defence capacities, additional systems and interceptors, and long-range capabilities,” the G7 countries stated.<\/p>\n

They also announced plans to grant Ukraine relevant licenses to support the expansion of domestic military production. The countries agreed to support strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience.<\/p>\n

We commit to increase the pressure on the Russian war economy. In this context, we will strengthen our sanctions, including those on the oil and gas sectors.
