Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has died at
\nthe age of 100, Reuters reports. <\/p>\n

Kissinger died at his home in Connecticut.<\/p>\n

Assistant to the Secretary of State James Baker told RIANovosti<\/a> that Kissinger played a key role in every issue related to the U.S.
\nforeign policy from 1969 to 1977.<\/p>\n

In particular, as Baker noted, the reduction of tensions
\nwith the USSR and the establishment of relations between the U.S. and China
\nwere due to the policy of the former Secretary of State.
