Tehran’s airspace will be closed on Monday during the farewell ceremony for former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, RIA Novosti<\/a> writes, citing the head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization, Abuzar Shiroudi.<\/p>\n

“On Monday, during the farewell ceremony for the late Supreme Leader, Tehran’s airspace will be completely closed, and no flights will operate,” Iran’s state broadcaster quoted Shiroudi as saying.<\/p>\n

The farewell ceremonies and funeral for former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will take place from July 4 to 9.
