Cuba’s national power grid collapsed on Tuesday, the energy ministry said, marking the third major blackout in nine days on the ‌island of about 10 million people, Reuters<\/a> writes.<\/p>\n

“There has been a total disconnection of the electrical system,” the ministry said on social media.<\/p>\n

Following the previous grid failure, protests erupted across the country, with residents demanding the restoration of electricity supplies.<\/p>\n
