London will provide constant and comprehensive support to Kyiv in the coming decade. The agreement stipulates that in case of a further Russian attack, the U.K. will promptly provide Ukraine with the necessary assistance, including modern weapons to repel ground, amphibious and air assault.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Today is the day when the history of Europe is changing. Ukraine and the United Kingdom have signed a new and unprecedented security agreement. This is not a mere statement. This is a reality that will be established thanks to our cooperation and, in particular, the security guarantees provided by a great world power, Great Britain,” Zelenskyy noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Britain has become the first G7 member to sign such an agreement; London has called it historic.<\/span><\/p>\n

The agreement will be in force until Ukraine joins NATO.<\/span><\/p>\n
