Hamas wants to extend the truce with Israel in the Gaza
\nStrip by using all the cards it has in negotiations. As TASS reports, Member of
\nthe Political Bureau of Hamas Ghazi Hamad said this.<\/p>\n

“We are striving to extend the truce to stop the aggression
\nonce and for all, by using the cards we have,” Hamad said.
<\/p><\/p>\n
As he noted, Hamas stays in contact with Qatar and Egypt.
<\/p><\/p>\n
“We are prepared and ready to achieve a comprehensive or
\npartial deal. The comprehensive deal relates to the military (captives) in
\nexchange for the release of all Palestinian detainees from Israeli prisons, or
\nit may be a partial (deal) related to civilians, and this will be subject to
\nthe negotiations,” Hamad noted.

Hamas announced on Nov. 22 that through the mediation of
\nQatar and Egypt, an agreement had been reached on a four-day humanitarian truce
\nin the Gaza Strip. The agreement provides that 50 women and children under the
\nage of 19 held in Gaza should be released in exchange for 150 women and
\nchildren under the age of 19 held in Israeli prisons.
