The bulk of the US military’s missile inventory has been significantly depleted during the five-month war with Iran, with military officials warning that the decline could affect the country’s readiness for future conflicts, CNN<\/a> reports, citing sources familiar with internal Pentagon assessments.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, the United States has used nearly 80% of its pre-war stockpile of THAAD missile interceptors and around half of its Patriot missiles. Air defense supplies have suffered the sharpest decline.<\/p>\n
