Azerbaijani president’s aide Hikmet Hajiyev has expressed confidence that the “Zangezur Corridor” will open in the near future.<\/p>\n
The Azerbaijani official made the remarks in an interview with CNN Türk.<\/p>\n
According to Hajiyev, Azerbaijan has almost completed its part of the project. He said that Turkey is continuing the construction of a new railway line from Kars, while Armenia, together with the United States, has committed to building a 42-kilometre section.<\/p>\n
