In an interview with The Economist, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said that artificial intelligence could surpass the combined capabilities of human intelligence within about five years.<\/p>\n

Musk warned that as technological progress accelerates, so do the associated security risks. He discussed concerns over controlling AI, the global race for energy resources, the possibility of moving data centers into space, and the future of humanity.<\/p>\n
