One of the resolutions to be discussed in the French Senate on Jan. 17 will be on Armenia and the Armenians of Artsakh.<\/span><\/p>\n

A group of members of the Senate, namely Bruno Retailleau, Gilbert-Luc Devinaz and others, under Article 34-1 of the French Constitution, propose a resolution aimed at condemning the military attack of Azerbaijan against Artsakh, preventing further attempts of aggression and violation of the territorial integrity of Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The resolution will call for sanctions against Azerbaijan and “requires that security guarantees be provided to the Armenian population that has the right to return to Artsakh”.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
