Producer Sean John Combs, known as P.Diddy, may be charged in connection with the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur in 1996.

According to a source, if prosecutors are able to prove the involvement of former Compton Crips gang leader Dwayne Keith Davis in orchestrating Tupac’s murder, Sean Combs could be subject to prosecution.<\/p>\n
The first hearing in the Tupac murder case was held on August 18. Davis pleaded not guilty. The trial is expected to last about a month; if convicted, the 63-year-old former gang leader could face up to life in prison.<\/p>\n
In 2023, Davis’s home was searched, and several computers, boxes of photographs, and materials related to Shakur were seized. The former leader of the Compton Crips was arrested later that year. After his arrest, Davis claimed that producer Sean John Combs, known as P.Diddy, ordered Tupac’s murder.<\/p>\n
