An overwhelming majority of French people are dissatisfied with the performance of President Emmanuel Macron, according to a new opinion poll. Macron has lost all the support he had gradually regained among the public since January, the results show.<\/p>\n
The poll, conducted by CSA at the request of Le Journal du Dimanche, found that Macron’s approval rating had fallen by 7 percentage points. Of the 1,000 French respondents surveyed, only 21% said they approved of the president’s performance, while 79% expressed dissatisfaction with his policies.<\/p>\n
According to the newspaper, Macron has now lost all of the support he had gradually regained since the beginning of the year.
