At least 27,900 houses have been damaged in the series of earthquakes in the Noto Peninsula in central Japan, the authorities of Ishikawa Prefecture report.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, 21,400 houses were reported partially or fully damaged. Electricity is still cut off in about 7,800 residential buildings.<\/span><\/p>\n
