Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has received Magdalena Grono, the European Union’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus.<\/p>\n
Тhe meeting focused on key issues on the Azerbaijan-EU cooperation agenda, prospects for developing the bilateral partnership, the current situation in the region, and efforts to strengthen regional peace and stability.<\/p>\n
The meeting also covered steps being taken to ensure peace and security in the South Caucasus, as well as efforts toward normalization and confidence-building between Azerbaijan and Armenia.<\/p>\n
The importance of discussions held between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia during their meeting in Bishkek in August this year was emphasized in terms of advancing the regional peace agenda.<\/p>\n
