Iran is not seeking to develop nuclear weapons and is ready to reach an agreement with the United States before the November midterm elections, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated in an interview with Fox News.<\/p>\n
“Iran has never sought to develop nuclear weapons and absolutely does not want them. We are ready to comply with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. We said we’re willing to dilute them. It’s not a big deal. We are willing to submit ourselves to verification,” the Iranian President said.<\/p>\n
Pezeshkian noted that the main problem is that the United States prefers military confrontation to dialogue.<\/p>\n
