The US is increasing its focus on the South Caucasus, recognizing the region’s potential for developing the Trans-Caspian trade corridor and expanding opportunities for American businesses, US Chargé d’Affaires to Azerbaijan Amy Carlon said.<\/p>\n
“I think it is very clear that the United States is currently prioritizing the South Caucasus region,” Carlon said.<\/p>\n
She also referenced a recent event held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York dedicated to the TRIPP, as well as a speech by US President Donald Trump in which he highlighted the agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia in August.<\/p>\n
“This is not something that will fade away.
