Rosatom is working with Armenia on the “Nairit” project (remediation of the environmental legacy left by the “Nairit” synthetic rubber plant), Alexey Likhachev, CEO of the state corporation, stated during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n
“We are working with our Armenian partners on the ‘’Nairit’’ project, and I hope we will also be able to provide assistance,” Likhachev said.<\/p>\n
In addition, Likhachev noted that work at the Armenian NPP is ongoing. “We cannot leave Armenia out, because we are extending the operational life of the plant.
